Question: is this the switch for the variable valve pressure system?Gary B. / Mar 28, 2021
Hi Gary, No, this item is for the oil pressure warning on the instrument cluster.

I think that IS the oil pressure switch for the variable valve timing system. I believe the single lead oil pressure sending unit for the dash gauge is located below the alternator straight down into the block. I don’t know what your problem is, but my vet car coded up a P0011 and the vvt solenoid was the fix. By the way, DO NOT over tighten that vvt switch. It screws into the head, and can crack it. Trust me, I know all too well. Good luck Gary. Ed
