Question: Is this the upgraded part to control oil consumption?Bruce R. / Jun 05, 2021
Hi Bruce, I'm glad to assist you. Positioned under the hood, the air/oil separator allows a light oil mist to get into and out of the crankcase. When this component fails to work efficiently, the first sign you'll notice is a smoky emission. If you don't want that embarrassing kind of smoke to continue leaking out of your tailpipe, replace your defective oil separator immediately. Please click the link we have from our resource database for more information and scroll down at the bottom portion to see the details (https://www.carparts.com/oil-separator). Please click the link below to order this part today and take advantage of the sale price. I hope this helps. When I bought it for my car it helped with the excessive oil consumption but it didn't eliminate. It bought it due to a fault code the old separator gave me.
