Much less expensive part for the same thing. I'm a convert.Power Steering Pressure Line Hose Assembly, Power Steering, 6 Cyl., 3.5L Engine

After paying $135 at a local Napa parts store I found the Carparts.com website and found the price to be $85 less for the part I needed. Since the mechanic didn't have time to put it in for several days I opted to buy the Carparts.com version. 85 dollars richer, so far so good and am now a Carparts.com fan. The part arrived quickly considering I live off the beaten path.

I ordered this for 2002 Honda odyssey. The local junkyard asked for $139 for used power steering hose!! I think I got a great deal from carpart comparing the prices. It's working as intended now.

Hi William,
Thank you for your review. Our products are produced by certified ISO9001:2000 and QS9000 facilities that produce precision OE components. We use the same manufacturers as many famous US brands. Our product are direct replacement parts, designed to function the same, may not be physically identical to the original, but there are some instances that it even worked better than the OE parts. Nevertheless, we will relay your feedback to our supplier so they can investigate further and improve where it's needed.

It was pretty difficult. If there was a way to pull the new hose into place with the old hose it would probably make it easier. I had to reroute the new hose several times before I got it into place. It took me about 5 hours to complete.

Answered by Doc J. / Sat, Mar 04Question: Hi.. I have a 2003 odyssey. Will this fit? I only have a problem with the high pressure hose.. but i have to get this whole assembly? Also when using power steering fluid, do I really have to use for Honda make only or any will do? ThanksMatt T. / Dec 28, 2021
Hi Matt, I'm pleased to assist you. Yes, you will need to get this high-pressure hose assembly for the 2003 Honda Odyssey. You do not need to use "Genuine Honda" power steering fluid. You do, however, need to use power steering fluid made for Hondas/Acuras. You cannot use just any power steering fluid in your Honda.
