Yes, it works. With some modificationsRadiator Support Assembly, Aluminum
4.0/5
Would have got a 5 star if it was a straight swap with no modifications. Went in great, lined up with the fenders. I’ve got a light bar mounted on the OE core support brace, when I tried to mount the OE brace on this CS, that’s when I figured out this core support is not a tall as the OE by a 1/2 inch, OE brace won’t work on this CS. I got worried the hood wouldn’t hit the hood latch at that point, but it shut fine. The only 2 issues were the top two AC condenser holes are a 1/4 low, if the condenser pads are not there the holes line up. Self tapping screws were used. The light housing bracket “OE” which is plastic does not line up with all the holes, just open the holes up in the plastic bracket. Test fit the lights, found the metal rods that hold the headlights in didn’t line up. Have to remove the outer lip on the housing bracket so it will slide over for the holes in the headlight to match the holes in the brackets. Not to difficult to figure out. Thinner metal than OE. Overall there’s always some modification to aftermarket parts, this was an easy swap.

Question: Are all 1500 core supports the same like 2002 to 06?Mikie P. / Jan 22, 2021
Hi Mikie, This radiator support covers only from 1999 to 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500. The 2003 onwards is new body design and is not the same anymore.

Question: Wat is the part called in the very  front of the radiator support?Tony T. / Apr 10, 2020
Hi – In order to potentially answer your question, I will need some more information. Are you referring to a body component or a mechanical component (e.g., the condenser)? What does the part in question look like?
