Fitment issue on lower driver-side (left) mounting.Radiator, 1.8L Engine, Plastic Tank
4.0/5
The OEM radiator on my 2010 Toyota Corolla 1.8L has a small locating slot/notch on the bottom right corner that fits perfectly with a protruding tab on the vehicle’s lower radiator support bracket/frame. This keeps the radiator seated tightly and aligned without movement. Unfortunately, this aftermarket radiator is missing that lower locating slot entirely. As a result, the radiator wouldn’t sit flush or engage properly at the bottom. I therefore had to break off the protruding tab from my car’s support to allow it to drop in and sit flat. Installation otherwise went fine, but this missing feature made it a hassle and required permanent modification to the vehicle. Would have preferred an exact OEM-style match for the lower locator to avoid any cutting or fitment work. Still functions fine now, but deducting stars for the incomplete design match.

Question: What's the plug on radiator near the radiator cap on 2009 Toyota matrix 1.8 4 cylinder?Orlando R. / Aug 13, 2020
There are currently no answers for this question.
Question: I recently bought this radiator for my 2009 Toyota Corolla LE, but it did not fit. The distance between the top screw hole next to the filler neck and the core was shorter than the one that came with the car. Also, the hose connectors on the filler neck were different. My radiator has them on the side like shown in this radiator https://www.carparts.com/details/Toyota/Corolla/CSF/Radiator/2009/LE/4_Cyl_1-dot-8L/CSF3445.html. I have tried 3 different radiators from 3 different brands, but I cannot find an exact fit. Can you help me identify the correct part?Josue R. / May 03, 2023

It sounds like you have the German made Corolla. When I was researching mine I found that the Sport ones were produced in Germany and they have a different radiator. Does your radiator have 2 fans or one behind the radiator?

Question: Ok does it make a difference if the brand is duralast  if the CU # is 13106?  And if the original radiator is Canada/ USA built? Also when I looked up the CU# it said it is compatible with the Toyota Corolla XLE but it's for the year 2017-2018 and 2019Randy / Jun 03, 2022
Hi Miranda, I'm pleased to assist you. Upon checking, there are 2 sizes of radiator for the 2010 Toyota Corolla XLE 4 Cyl 1.8L. The core size of part number 13106 is 25.63 x 14.5 x 0.63 inches. There is another one that is 23.63 x 14.63 x 0.63 inches. Both for manual or automatic transmissions, which will work in the USA-built Corolla's. This would be smaller than the 13106. Hi Miranda, I'm pleased to assist you. No. The brand does not matter. This radiator is 13106 and will fit the Canada and USA-built 2017-2019 Toyota Corolla XLE 4 Cyl 1.8L. Is this the year range of your vehicle? If not, what is the year of your vehicle? We look forward to hearing from you. Have a good one.
