The brass in which the transmission hoses connect to were both 8mm wide. My stock radiator was 10mm wide. I made a simple step down adapter out of stuff I got from autozone and it was all good.

Question: Hi, the hose of the automatic transmission cooler doesn't fit with the connector. The original hoses' diameter size is more than the size of the connector. How can I solve that issue? The car is a 2012 Kia Forte EX 4 Cyl 2.0L and the Radiator Manufacturer #P13133Maykel O. / Apr 30, 2022

Answered by Jade C. / Tue, May 03Mine was the same as yours. I used a screw style hose clamp and snugged it up. It’s not leaking. I would like a better fix but not sure what else I could do. I hope this helps.
