Exceeded expectationsRadiator, 3.8L Engine, Aluminum Core, Plastic Tank

The quality of the radiator exceeded my expectations. Also, it was packed very well. It came in the time that was predicted. Here's what I didn't like - that I had to install it myself. :) I wish they had a virtual mechanic to do the job for me.

Replaced radiator on 95 Buick Park Avenue Basic. This is not an easy job, tight fit on transmission lines and water hose on passenger side. Easier to cut water hose close to radiator and then replace, replace both. Also replace the overflow hose. Have patience. The radiator was same exact as original.

Question: How do I know if my 2001 Buick Park Avenue base model has the coolant level indicator?Tammy W. / Aug 22, 2023
Hi Tammy, I'm pleased to assist you. Sometimes the radiator cap has a built-in indicator for the coolant level. You can also check the owner's manual, call the dealership with the VIN, and check the radiator which might suggest the presence of a coolant level indicator. or also ask a mechanic.
