Hi Erica, I'm glad to help you out. Before you replace a rocker repair panel with a new full or slip-on panel, you must cut away and remove the old, rusted panel. When you remove the old rusted metal, it is important to sand several inches beyond the rusted edges using an angle grinder or similar tool.
