Love everything about this kit except for the fact it doesn't come with bolts or have an option to include bolts. I had to take my current bottom strut bolt off and go to Home Depot to get 2 more and locking nuts. Not enough to make me not buy more from here, but just thought id share. It would be great since we already select the model of car, to make an option to include hardware with this kit.

Hi David, I'm pleased to assist you. Yes, the top 2 bolts of the shock absorber are welded so they cannot turn. This is a common design feature of shock absorbers, as it helps to prevent the bolts from loosening and the shock absorber from coming loose. If you need to remove the shock absorber, you will need to cut the welded bolts. Be careful when doing this, as you do not want to damage the shock absorber or the surrounding components.
