Hi Ross, I'm pleased to assist you. Priming or pre-loading struts is not a standard procedure for most front-loaded strut assemblies. In fact, it's uncommon and unnecessary for most modern strut designs. Front-loaded struts are typically ready for installation right out of the box. They are pre-assembled with the necessary components, including the coil spring, strut mount, and strut itself, and are designed to be installed as a complete unit. I hope this helps.
