Question: How are these bump stops secured ? Since the round upside down cup that they fit into has no mounting hole for a bolt ?Jim / May 21, 2025
Hi James, thank you for reaching out. The bump stop installs by simply pressing into the inverted cup-style mount on your vehicle’s frame or control arm—no bolts or fasteners are required. It is secured by sliding it onto the strut rod, not by bolting it to the round cup. The bump stop is held in place by the strut assembly components —specifically, the top mount and a Nyloc nut tightened on the rod—while the cup serves only as a seat, not a mounting point.
