Do not buy from CarPartsDirect Fit Spare Tire Carrier, Assembly
1.0/5
I could have bought the same part for 1/3 of the price, but I did not want to wait a week so I paid 3x the price by buying it from CarParts because it was promised in 2 days. It ended up over a week before it reached my door. I am reporting this to BBB.

Original spare tire linkages that came with the truck will work with this one. It also fit my bumper perfectly. I installed this item on my 2008 GMC Sierra SLT

Question: Will this work on an 8 lug bolt pattern ?William K. / Jul 22, 2021
Hi William, I'm glad to help you out. Unfortunately, no. We currently don't carry spare tire carriers compatible with trucks with 8-lug bolt pattern wheels. We suggest checking the local parts stores around your area or the GM dealership directly on what they have available to offer you. I hope this helps and happy shopping.
