I bought this kit to replace the worn out linkage on my '94 YJ. For the price, I couldn't beat the deal! Plus it was so much easier to just get the whole kit, assemble it, set it to the measurements of the old one, then just knock the old one out and bolt the new one in. Haven't gotten it aligned yet, but it drives straight and true doing it this way.
The downside is the hardware is junk. I re-used my old bolts, but a quick trip to the hardware store for some grade 5 bolts would be reasonable too. The bolts looked ok, but the nuts were deformed, so I didn't trust the heat treat on the bolts either and just scrapped them all.
Be sure to grease it after installing too. I had to manually pack the long rod as it does not have a greasable zerk and the whole assembly took a full tube of grease.

This wasn't just a replacement, it ended up being a serious upgrade. The rods were solid and bigger than the original, the steering damper was twice the size of the stock part and once it was installed and the wheels aligned my Jeep handled better than it ever did!!!
I'm extremely pleased with this purchase....

After inspection of my existing tie rods I decided it was time for a replacement. The Crown steering linkage was a perfect fit. Everything came off easy enough and after some trial and error with the cylinder, bolts, and washers, I got everything hooked up. Seems like a solid product and after a couple weeks I can tell the steering is much tighter. Just beware if you're a DIY kind of person, because it came with no instructions at all. This was only an issue with the cylinder and bolts, because it looks a lot different than the OEM cylinder. The rest of the assembly is self explanatory. All in all I am satisfied with the results.
