Hello! What do you mean by "no slack"? The backlash is preset on these steering racks and should not need to be adjusted

Answered by Mitchell D. / Thu, Aug 20Had same problem with my 2000 Sierra, I went all the way, the rack was perfect fit and upgraded with no vent cross-over pipe has been deleted and it is very great, and just for myself, I also replaced power steering pump, I have no complaint all is top do it brother
