Question: Looking for upper steering shaft to the wheel ?Ray B. / Oct 30, 2021
Hi Ray, I'm glad to assist you. This is the main intermediate steering shaft. Unfortunately, we do not carry the upper steering shaft, which has an OEM part number 7828404, upper steering column shaft (with race). Still, you might need other parts, such as a steering gearbox. We have a sale price offer today with part number A1276510. Click the link below to check and order the set, if ever. I hope this helps. Happy shopping. https://www.carparts.com/details/Chevrolet/El_Camino/A1_Cardone/Steering_Gearbox/1978/Base/8_Cyl_5-dot-0L/A1276510.html?can=CPJE1043

Not sure of length. Fit 86 El Camino. That should also be good for must G body cars of that year
