This rear bumper was a perfect factory replacement for my old banged up bumper. The install wasn’t hard at all only took a couple hours to install. Now my truck looks almost good as new.

Hi Brian,
This is a direct fit for your given vehicle application. But, this does not mention anything specific that it will fit with factory built in hitch type of bumper. Usually, the fitment note would say will fit for "with towing package" type. The one with towing package type should look the same as of your original step bumper. If this looks different, this will not work, since we show the exact image of the part you will be getting. I checked our listing but no mention for one that will fit with towing package type.

Hi Larry, I'm glad to help you out. No. This bumper is for without the towing hitch package. Upon checking, we currently do not have in stock the direct-fit step bumper for the vehicle.

A towing hitch is attached to the frame, never a bumper. The direct-fit step bumper I purchased fits around the hitch just fine.

As I remember, (it's been nearly a year since I bought it) this bumper can be used with a ball mounted in the hole just behind the license plate holder. My truck has the tow package and came with a receiver hitch mounted to the frame. The new bumper had extra reinforcing plates I didn't use, and I think they were meant be used with a bumper mounted ball. It isn't designed to have a receiver hitch mounted to it.

i have a frame hitch that was Toyota installed. The bumper I bought does not have a place to attach a class 3 hitch to it. It does fit over the hitch supplied.
There is a place you can put a ball but it would not recommend it.
