Was a direct easy install. The original bumper was in decent shape but the brackets that were part of the hitch rusted out and only one bolt was holding the bumper on. I had to remove the hitch and only install the bumper with new brackets. Toyota discontinued the hitch so I need to order it from another site but it’s backlogged till Jan 2026. I’m satisfied with the new bumper and the look

Answered by Aldrin P. / Mon, Jun 28Yes it’s chrome I was satisfied not too heavy was easy to install with the help of a friend actually he just help me get it into the brackets put a couple of bolts in there and then I took it from there now can you make sure you measure the sides correctly and get them as closest possible and then you took it down I’m satisfied to this day with my purchase of the bumper

Answered by Grace G. / Mon, Jan 18Actually when you put your vehicle information into the car parts system it will pull up all the parts that will fit your vehicle. That's all I did anyway and the one it said that would fit my 2006 Tacoma did fit it just fine. What I would do also is to go to the Toyota parts sight and ask them what the part number would be for your truck and then go back to car parts and see if it's a match. I did that and found the tailgate on eBay since car parts didn't have it. Hope this helps.
