Question: 2015 Audi Q5. I need a whole new part because water got into the passenger side rear light compartment. Is this the correct one? Also, will the bulbs match the same brightness as the original one? I want to make sure both rear lights match. Is it easy to install?Nicole H. / Jan 10, 2021

Yes, this is guaranteed fit for your 2015 Audi Q5, all submodels, 4 or 6 Cyl. This tail light conforms with all the original OEM factory specifications compared to the original part. The part attribute is exactly matching your original tail light. Check some resource videos online for an install guide and this should be moderately easy to install if you have experience in doing basic car repairs.

Answered by Melvin C. / Mon, Jan 11Replaced the passenger rear light assembly - same problem. It worked perfectly it looks great, a touch newer looking than the left side because it’s a fresh part. Local garage installed it in about an hour, charged $90 which was fair in my view.

This is the correct light assembly. A generic socket set and a screw driver are all that were needed to replace this component. It has a disconnect clip and should be easy to remove the old light for the swap.

Answered by Doug M. / Mon, Jan 11I installed this on my wife’s Q5. It was a perfect match. Install is easy. Pop out the inner panel covers, loosen the nuts, unclip the wiring connection. Reverse and it’s done. Maybe took 15 minutes.

Answered by Arnel E. / Fri, May 07The new taillight assembly looks perfect on my 2014 Audi Q5 passenger side. The replacement is six years newer, of course, than the existing on the driver side and I’d say it looks ever so slightly brighter but identical in every other way.
