Hi Paul, I'm glad to assist you. It is a complete assembly already. Once you receive it, it is a plug-and-play part and should work right away once installed already. This tail light comes as one whole assembled part (with bulbs and its wirings inside) and is ready to function. It does not come with the wires (with socket connectors) coming off the vehicle. It is the tail light itself only. Did you mean that you have ordered from us twice already?

Question: I ordered this to swap out my broken tail light cover on a 2016 BMW X3. However, the product does not include the necessary circuit board or connections to actually make the tail light work. I do not see anywhere in the description that an additional component is required. How do I get the tail light to work? I bought this part alone & my local mechanic just popped in it place where my cracked one was. As long as your main headlight assembly & connections are not damaged you should be good to go. I was shocked how cheap this was to do, unlike all my other 2011 X3 repairs. Don
