Question: the unit was noted to not have the backup light bulb to not have a socket included. I imagine that means I can just use the socket from the old unit. is that correct? Also, would there be any difference in color and hue of the old and new units? specifically, the color and hue of the led strip, as well as the lens of the shell? Hi Eric,
Yes, you may transfer the socket and back up bulb from the old unit. There is a possibility of color difference between the lenses of the old and new tail light given the age of the old part. For better result I suggest getting both sides to match.
