Hello Walter, This is the effect of the studio lighting on the tail light lens. Nevertheless the lens are of the same color finish as the part that it replaces.

It may appear darker due to the density of the plastic, the external edge is non-functional, only the reverse light and brake/turn/parking lenses are functional therefore more transparent giving them a lighter appearance.

Hi Andrew, As per checking, this item does not come with installation hardware. We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership. I do not have access to that information, but you can also contact your local dealership for hardware and fastener specifications.

No need for screws, you use the existing screws from the taillight you are replacing.

It does not come with screws. I used the screws when I removed the old tail light assembly. I recommend once you get the tail light assembly to go to the local hardware store and get the pan head phillips machine screws. they are pretty common.
