Hi,
Unfortunately, the wiring harness from the tail light will be short only as shown on our image. This matches the same length as of the factory original that came with the tail lights of your vehicle. The wiring harness you are referring to is the main vehicles body wiring harness assembly, this tail light does not come with that.

The wiring harness definitely would not reach to other side.
Would rate this tail light assembly as 5 star... perfect fit and came with full set of new bulbs pre-installed. Matches OEM side perfectly.

Answered by Norbert / Tue, Sep 08I just did it yesterday. There is a connector for the driver's side wiring to plug into on the drivers side of the vehicle. It isn't mounted to the body like the passenger side, but hanging near the tail pipe. You can see it before starting the repair if you kneel down and look up.
