One of the cables broke several years ago. I was careful not apply too much load, but finally second one broke.I shop local auto part stores and they were very expensive. I remember many years ago I shopped Warshawsky when living near Chicago. Prices were always good. I got on-line and found the cables at a fraction local auto parts stores. For the price is was worth a try, so I ordered them and installed them. They fit and functioned perfectly and looked better than original equipment.
