Functional replacement. Looks well built, good crimps, ends are as thick as OEM. Ends that bolt to the tailgate are not the same as OEM; Ford makes separate Left and Right. These are universal. Includes "angle limiter" inserts to make it work just like OEM. Comes with a few extra parts that are not needed. No instructions, so it took me a minute to figure out which insert to use. But once installed, functions exactly like OEM, now I can jump up and down on my tailgate again!
