Hi Doug, I'm pleased to assist you. Yes, this kit with a backup camera will work on your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 WT even if it did not come from the factory with a backup camera. The backup camera wiring will most likely not be pre-installed in your truck, but the handle itself should still function normally to open and close the tailgate.
