After spending on another junk set these worked for my 2005 2500hd. Gate kept dropping with other. These hold the gate closed.

These latches are better than the OEM in my opinion. They are heavier and include the cables. The cables seem to be a little shorter, But that could be stretch on the old ones. I replaced both so there was not an issue. I did however reuse the OEM clips. the plastic is too soft on the replacements. I never could get it to snap in place. I felt more comfortable using the OEM clips.

Unfortunately, these won't. These replace the models with factory cables and latch assembly on the tailgates.
