Arrived with a few small dents- not worth the hassle to return to exchange. This issue seems to the common as the item is not packed well to prevent damage. Arrived when stated, have yet to install as we are waiting until the entire truck gets painted.

Answered by Grace G. / Tue, Jan 05The tailgate comes with nothing in it. It's just the shell. Not even the inside panel cover. Other then the cut outside for the latch, the only hole it has is for the lock cylinder. If your going to run a panel and tire carrier, you have to drill those holes yourself.

So i am not sure the difference between the years when this one only goes up to 93. Do you know what the difference is? I know the bronco didn’t change in size or configuration. Thanks. Any differences in the truck generation years ('87-'90, '91-'96, etc.) was in things like the trim panel and maybe some of the internals. Since you have to add all that to this shell anyway, you should be good to go.

I am not sure if it will fit 1980-86 Broncos , but it may be the same as well .

As per checking, this item does not come with access panel. We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Sun, May 16It's just the shell. Be sure to inspect the gate before ups takes off. It's a large and heavy box, that gets dropped during shipping. The edges are easily bent. Good quality though.
