Ordered this for a 99 f150, came in a large well packaged box, for as good of a deal I got I was expecting it to require large amounts of body work, however there was only a small dent on the bottom drivers side and a wrinkle on the lip where the handle goes, overall excellent for the price, the old hardware did not have issues mounting to the new tailgate, the fitment is the same as the stock one. If you need a less beat up tailgate this is not a bad option particularly if you catch on sale.

This fit like a glove. Was easy to put on. These are built better than the newer trucks. If I didn't need a new tailgate I wouldn't need this part. My old one has taken a beating. I hope this one takes the same.
