Hi Johnny, Upon checking, this thermostat is compatible with the 2006 Infiniti G35 Base and X submodels 6 Cyl 3.5L GAS, 180 Degree. There are signs when the thermostat is bad, like - Temperature gauge reading very high and engine overheating; Your A/C or heater runs constantly and won't turn OFF; Room temperature and setting don't match; Coolant leaks around the thermostat housing or under the vehicle. To avoid problems, we recommend having the vehicle diagnosed by a certified mechanic to determine what part needs replacement.
