I’ve heard many complaints that any LED light placed in the third brake light position will cause the cruise control to be inoperative. Is this true. I have a 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 5.3L. Just by upgrading the third brake light to LED does not in anyway directly affect the cruise control functionality.
