Question: what is the problem if a new tie rod rubs the inside of my rim when i turn the wheel all the way to the left?kenneth K. / Apr 24, 2021
Hi Kenneth, I'm glad to assist you. That means the inner tie rod adjustment to the outer tie rod is not standard anymore if it rubs to your rim on the driver side. The inner tie rod is connected to your steering rack. Please have that checked by a mechanic and have it adjust to the correct standard setting or alignment. Still, it is best to refer to your trusted local auto repair shop since an extensive troubleshooting would be done to check if there are other parts related to it that is needed to be changed for service maintenance if those parts were not serviced for a long period eversince. Please click the link below to order this part today once you have determined that is is all that you need to order for now. I hope this helps. Happy shopping. https://www.carparts.com/tie-rod-end/truedrive/repv282124?can=CPJE1043
