Not sure where it was made it’s been 2 years ago and the car is still running on this pump . The quality was actually impressive for the cost.

I do not remember. I’m sure it was somewhere in Asia though. Has been in my Sportage for a while and no issues with them.

The timing belt doesn't have teeth to be exact. The belt has grooves for timing Sprocket ,which does have teeth to fit in the grooved belt. To get a working out of the information you are seeking try counting the Sprocket :teeth "

Question: The fit notes state May 16th 2006 or newer if mine was made in January of 2006 will this not fit ?A Shopper / May 01, 2020
The timing belt tensioner, which is in the picture above, one item in this group that was changed by Hyundai on May 15th or 16th 2006. If your 2006 Hyundai Tucson was made before May 15th 2006, and assuming you have the original engine, then the timing belt tensioner will not fit. You may be able to re-use the old tensioner, or a better choice is to buy the tensioner separately. This is the situation that I have because I don't have the original engine. My car was made after 5/15/2006, but the engine it has was made before this change. If you know that you have the original engine, then, as I stated, the tensioner will not fit. I also had to modify the water pump slightly. I needed to pull the pin on the pulley mounting plate. You can see this pin in the picture above. Just pliers and some grip. My water pump is now installed. Good Luck!
