Oil channel tab under crankshaft gears too close to gear and rubbed on chain. Had to take everything apart again adding 5 hours of labor, new oil and a lot of frustration. Chatted online with someone and they said the part was for a convertible and not for my car. I actually laughed when I heard that.

Based on our records, the Timing Cover will fit a 2011 Volkswagen GTI Base 4 Cyl 2.0L. You mentioned that the Lower Timing Chain Cover is hitting the chain when you installed it. Can you please provide the Vin Number of your vehicle? I went over the chat session you had with one of our Chat Support and the Vin number provided is not valid.
