Hi Barry, I'm pleased to assist you. No, it cannot bypass or disable the governor. If you are looking to remove the governor from your 2000 GMC SIERRA 2500, you will need to do so mechanically. This is a complex and potentially dangerous procedure, and it is not recommended unless you are a qualified mechanic. It is a monitor and diagnostic tool that allows you to view and record vehicle data, such as engine RPM, boost pressure, and coolant temperature. It can also be used to clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). We currently do not have a product that can be upgraded to a tuning device. Contact us again if you require any other vehicle parts. It is a monitor and diagnostic tool that allows you to view and record vehicle data, such as engine RPM, boost pressure, and coolant temperature.
