Question: when I turn off my 88 chevy K1500 my four ways stay blinking as well as I am driving WHY????Linde C. / Jul 29, 2023
Hi Linde, I'm glad to assist you. If your four-way hazard lights (hazard flashers) continue to blink even after you turn off the switch and it persists while driving, there may be an issue with the hazard light switch or a short on the wiring. The other possibility is a stuck hazard light switch, in the "on" position. We cannot pinpoint the exact part to be replaced for now. I hope this helps!

Hi John, I'm glad to assist you. That could be a possible turn signal switch defect. Also, check for blown-out fuses or relays for the headlight and turn the signal switch that controls the headlights on and off. It is also possible there is an issue with the turn signal cam switch. Please have your vehicle checked carefully by a certified mechanic for an accurate diagnosis. We cannot just recommend you this part be replaced without undergoing real-time troubleshooting. Hello! This part does include the automatic cancel switch, but I have also seen the that part of the steering wheel itself that interfaces with this switch to break. I would remove your steering wheel and investigate further.
