Question: If every thing works except my signal lights will this fix my problem ?A Shopper / Sep 06, 2020
Hi, The issue could be isolated to your turn signal function only. Usually, you have to check first the fuse for that specific turn signal function. The fuse box is located on the sidekick panel lower driver side. Also, it is best to consult a trusted vehicle specific repair manual for more extensive troubleshooting steps.

Not necessarily. This part acts as a lever to switch the turn signal mechanism on and off. The mechanism is a separate part. An easy first check is to make sure the fuses aren’t blown. If fuses are good I would check the output voltage from the wiring harness that connects to the turn signal mechanism. The wiring for the this part only controls cruise and wipers.

Make sure your flasher is good first. The only reason to replace the switch would be, if the switch/ lever is broken.

This does not control the low/high beam that switch is under the dash mounted on the steering column this just acts as a lever pushing a rod to the switch

Question: 1989 3500 silverado?A Shopper / Dec 14, 2020
Hi, You missed mentioning what type of model you have, is it 2WD or 4WD 3500? Silverado is a submodel. We can only guarantee fitment based on our application guide. Please enter your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine type, and type the part's name in the search box. Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.

my only thought is to contact a chevrolet parts dept and compare what they show on their computer if the part is still available. some old timer mechanics who know that vehicle may know if you can find one working in a dealership or an independent. good luck! there are many silverado cAR CLUBS ON LINE- I'LL BET THEY HAVE AN ANSWER!!!!
