Hi Robert, I'm glad to assist you. There is no information saying whether it is compatible or not with tilt steering. The best way is to call your local dealership and provide the complete VIN of your vehicle so they could provide you with a matching OEM part number, so we could match with what you have. It is likely one of the two hardshell connectors that plug into the back of the multifunction switch/turn signal switch. The locking tabs break and allow the wire/s to pull out of the connector. Its a common problem
