Question: Does this replacement switch also cancel your blinker ?A Shopper / May 07, 2020
Yes, be mindful of the cancelling pin when installing...theres a delicate spring inside. I would say straighten out the steering wheel as well ...not sure if that affects where it cancels the blinker along the rotation of the wheel

Question: Turn signals work great. My problem is the switch does not  cancel after turn is complete. Is that due to this switch malfunction? It goes in a 1998 jeep wrangler sport 4.0ronald b. / Feb 25, 2021
Hi Ronald, This part is guaranteed to fit the 1998 Jeep Wrangler (TJ) Sport 6 Cyl 4.0L. It could be that the lock ring on the turn signal is cracked or broken that's why the lever does not return to the rest position. Yes, replacing the turn signal switch would solve the problem.

I believe the clock spring cancels the turn signal not the turn stalk itself. Had a similar problem with a 99 Sahara
