Worked great. My high beams stopped working. When switched on, no high beams and the headlights went out. Replaced this part and problems solved.

Question: How to change it?Rhonda R. / Sep 08, 2020
Hi Rhonda, We recommend referring to a trusted vehicle specific repair manual for step by step instructions. You can find more information here: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/ Still, it is best to consult with a nearest automotive shop on how to install it.

I used a video on YouTube to help me replace the switch. This window won't let me paste in a link for the vid, so search on YouTube for "Honda Civic Multifunction Switch Removal." In the case of my car (a 2005 Civic EX coupe), the problem was actually a bad relay, not the switch. I replaced the switch anyway (I figured a new one was better than an old one), but I had to replace the relay in order to fix the problem. Until that was done, the blinker was flashing erratically, slowly, and would stop altogether. That's when I knew it was a relay problem.
