I'll Google it up to change out the turn signal switch but he gave me the wrong type of a truck you know I put my truck and here in it's made different I'm going to take it to the mechanic to have it put in I don't know how it comes apart but it looks like a pretty simply fix after you get to the column off of it I'll let you know when I get it on right now it's on delay it won't go off

Answered by Mitchell D. / Sat, Feb 13Instructions instructions that came with the replacement turn signal switch Were excellent. The only enhancement I might make to them would be to point out that Mercedes Benz uses torx head screws to fasten the cover between the steering wheel and the dash. You will need a metric torx wrench to remove and replace it. I did this on my Mercedes E3 20 with an L-shaped torx wrench that could reach the screws that are recessed about two or three inches inside the cover’s access holes. Metric sets of these wrenches are widely available. I have forgotten the exact size of the one I used on my E3 20. Be sure to follow all of the instructions sent with the switch very carefully as you will be removing the airbag from the center of the steering wheel. And, the airbag is an explosive device.
