The textured is just ready to install black no paint necessary. If you want color match then primed is what you want. Then you will have to paint it to match you truck.

Answered by Patrick O. / Mon, Mar 20textured has a rough feel and will not have the same as painted or glass with out prep, scuffing so that the paint will adhere with several coats to match other parts .

Answered by JEFF H. / Tue, Mar 21This part is under The "bumper" and is not visible as part of the truck body so no paint is used.

If you are talking about the clips that are needed to secure it from the sides and is not made on the valence then no, it did not come with it. I got the clips from Amazon and just an FYI, to install these clips you have to take the grill off and disassemble the front to get to where they go. It took me like 15 minutes to get it all done. I hope this helps.

Answered by Laura P. / Fri, Jun 25The “clips” are attached to the part itself and you will just need to attach the part to front bumper.
AB
Answered by Andrew B. / Thu, Jun 24The clips are built into the product and snap into the existing Toyota bumper assembly.

Answered by Michael M. / Thu, May 04Question: Is there drilled holes for the front license plate?Stephanie / Jan 08, 2021
Hi Stephanie,
This lower valance does not come with holes for the license plate bracket. But, there are markings at the back for you to drill the holes for the bracket as a guide.
JE
The holes are not drillied into the valance, but there are forms to mark where the holes should be in the back. I was particularly pleased by this because my state does not require front plates. It will be very easy to put the license plate screws in- much easier than the actual procedure to replace the part. If you are mechanically inclined, it is a breeze. If you are worried about making holes for plates, maybe not so much.
HM
Answered by Harold M. / Fri, Jan 08Hello Stephanie, there are indentations on the front valance that match where the license plate bracket screws secure the bracket. You will have to drill the holes smaller than the screw diameter to achieve a secure fit
