Very happy with <a href="http://carparts.com" target="_blank">carparts.com</a> and the Gates VCT actuator. It's covered by a lifetime warranty from Gates and carparts so I'm covered if anything happens. Install was much easier than I thought. It's been working the same as the OEM part and is half the price and better warranty. I'm thrilled. Only deducted 1 star since it arrived locked. Not a big deal to unlock it but you will need to have an air compressor to do it. Called Gates and their technical support is phenomenal - rare to find these days. It shipped quick and the sales support at carparts was very helpful. I'll be shopping at carparts again for sure.

Hi Anderson, I'm glad to assist you. No. It is locked by an internal pin which is fed by oil pressure through the camshaft. It is essential that the hub is in the UNLOCKED position before it is bolted to the camshaft. The procedure is to be done by a certified mechanic or your trusted local auto repair shop.
