It fit the car perfectly. However that did not solve my problem. The car is still overheating. I believe it could possibly be the thermostat not opening like it should.

Question: When changing the water pump on a 2003 Saab 9-5 do you have to remove the timing chain?Bernie / May 06, 2021
Hi Bernard, I'll be glad to assist. There's no need to remove the timing chain, but you will be taking off the serpentine belt, belt tensioner, and idler pulley. I hope this helps.
