Intermittently leaks coolant . First time ever truck began to overheat . Has 120,000 miles on engine . I think it's water pump but not sure . It sounds like your 2018 Ford F150 with the 3.5L Ecoboost engine may have some issues with the bearings and possibly a coolant leak. I would recommend taking it to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis and repair. The grinding sound and coolant leak could be indicative of a larger problem and should be addressed promptly to prevent further damage to your vehicle.
