Replacing a wheel bearing that comes as an assembly with the hub and bolts to the spindle or steering knuckle is not very difficult if you have proper skills, tools, and a vehicle-specific repair manual. You have to bring your vehicle to an automotive repair shop for a wheel alignment procedure as well. There is no need for a tool puller since the wheel hubs would be replaced as a whole assembly. Answered by Jeonino E. / Thu, Oct 21I don’t believe you need a puller. The one I changed on a 05 Silverado just unbolted and bolted back on. I just to take my brake caliper and bracket off. I didn’t actually change the set I bought on carparts because I traded the car.
