Car Parts dot com was great to deal with. Good pricing and fast shipping. Parts were installed and worked great. For my 16 year old granddaughter’s car and she helped me install the regulators every step of the way. Great bonding experience without costing an arm and a leg.

Question: is there just a clip that holds the 03 honda pilot window from coming down?   motor is making a humming noiseMichelle M. / Feb 28, 2021
Hi Michelle, The humming sound is from the window motor that is already defective and needs to be replaced. We actually have a helpful general DYI steps how to install a window regulator from our online resource. But still, it is best to consult a trusted vehicle specific repair manual for clear specific steps, or a video sharing website that shows a DYI install for your vehicle or consult your trusted local auto repair shop for this. Be more specific. Do you have everything mounted already and it’s not working? If that’s the case, you have to plug everything back in or it won’t work. I figured that one out the hard way. Even the plugs that have nothing to do with the motor. Ie. Door locks, power mirrors... If this is your first window assembly replacement, go ahead and do all of them. All four of ours failed within a year.

Its likely the cable on the regulator has broken. Theres a cable that makes the window go up and down. Its common as a car gets older for that cable to break. Order a new regulator and watch some videos on YouTube. Its actually a pretty easy fix. Ive done 2 of the windows on my 05 and it was pretty simple.

There is not a clip. The window is secured to the harness via bolts. If it is making a humming noise and not moving, it may likely need replaced.

There is no clip, so I used duct tape to keep the glass up while installing the motor.

Yes, it includes the motor with an aluminum track and pulley. A carriage rides along the tract and attaches to the base of the window frame.
