I was cautious initially when I realized I did not have to use the infamous window clips, but after completion the "grappler" with the rubber insert worked out very well. I highly recommend this option for anyone needing to make this repair. Model 2003 Mercedes C240 aka W203

I bought this regulator and I realized after opening the window channel clips were not on the new window regulator inbox. Is this on purpose or should I just take off the old clips off the old regulator and add to the new one? Did they even fit?
