The regulator came in and was exactly what I needed. I was a little worried about the installation but once I got into it that calmed me down and I had it done in about three and a half hours I didn’t think that was to bad for a carpenter doing the work it helped having the right part thinking about doing the driver side on the rear. Thanks car parts you guys came thru again

My passengers once again have a functioning window!Front, Driver Side Power Window Regulator, With Motor
5.0/5
I have needed this part to repair the broken window regulator on the passenger side for quite some time. Shopping around locally was discouraging with prices well over $100. Shopping online offered hope! With a competitive price equal to or below Amazon with free shipping, carparts.com got my business! A couple hours later my DYI project is complete and I have money to enjoy a nice meal for two out on the town!

I don't think there the same because of different positions and size of windows

Question: My rt side power mirror is off the track, how do I fix this (2002 Buick rendezvous)?Donna V. / Aug 15, 2022
Important first thing to know: Do you hear the window motor going up and down? If so, put it ALL THE WAY DOWN. If it's not moving at all, then it's not just the window off the track. So: First you need to find the mounting screws on the inside door panel. They are Philips head screws. You'll remove those and set them safely aside. Then the door panels also have plastic clip mount around the bottom and side. You can use a stiff putty knife or flat head screwdriver to pop these off. Get close to the clips when you do this, so the clips don't break. Once the door panel is loose, you can lift it up over the door window sill, and pull it away. There will be 2 guides for the door lock mechanism you have then pop off the handle. Just need to take your time with it. Once the door panel is off, set it aside. There is probably a plastic moisture liner tarred onto the door frame. You can peel this off. Now, if you motor has been working, and it's all the way down, you can see the top rail where the window sits. There are 2 screws that hold the window into that frame. Loosen those a little (don't drop them inside the door - been there, done that, no fun). You should be able to lower the window into the track, and then tighten the screws firmly. The window may not be perfectly aligned, but you can adjust that before you close everything back up. You can test it by turning your key to "on" and moving the window up a little, making fine adjustments until it's aligned. * A second set of hands is helpful in helping you move and hold things. Now, if the motor does not work at all, order the power window regulator kit. You will be doing all of the steps above, plus taking out the old regulator and putting in the new one. Look for the mountings screws inside the door frame, remove, and pull the old one out. I seem to recall needing a 10mm socket to do this part. So, you simply reverse the process, plug in the power, and tighten the fasteners. Then tighten the window into the track!
