Window regulator motor panelRear, Passenger Side Window Regulator, Power, With Panel
4.0/5
A much cheaper option than bying it from the dealer! You need a drill and a rivot gun to remove some of the components from the old part and swap them over. But it works great. Window Motor runs a bit slower than the originals. But it works fine.

Praying I made right decisionRear, Passenger Side Window Regulator, Power, With Panel
3.0/5
My sister and I want to fix this problem for our other sister's car. After reading reviews about the part being backwards, I hope it was the right decision to but from Carparts. The part should arrive Thursday 12-12-24. I'll report back with an update once the part is installed. This is meant for a Xmas gift that our sister can't afford so, fingers crossed.

Question: The window regulator I ordered and received for the left rear passenger on a 2009 Sonata is in reverse mode. What I mean by this is, the part fits the vehicle fine, but it's just the window goes up in the down mode and down in the up mode. I have read where a couple of other customers had the same problem, but they didn't say what they did to remedy the problem. Is there a way I can fix that or should the part be returned?Tony B. / Aug 15, 2021
Hi Tony, I'm glad to assist you. That seemed to be defective. Pease call our sales hotline (1-866-529-0412 ) and ask to be transferred to returns department so they could arrange for an outright replacement. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.

This happened to me too. The manufacturer has the wires to the motor reversed. The simple fix is to cut the two wires to the motor and splice the cut ends to the opposite color wire going to the motor. Wire nuts should work, or splice connectors. Then be sure to tape the splices well.

Before doing the cut and splice “fix” check to see if the two wires connected to the motor can simply be swapped, which is simple if they connect using spade connectors. Unfortunately the wires to my motor were soldered inside the casing.

Reverse the polarity to the motor (or the switch) as it is a dc motor and will spin opposite way

Try reversing the polarity of the electric connector i.e. turn it the opposite way.

Yes, the track that the window rides on is attached to the outside facing side of the regulator panel, as does the speaker. The window power motor is attached to the inside facing side of the panel. U-tube has some good videos showing how to replace the panel…it’s pretty tricky to do.

Yes, the window has a place in the bottom (hole) which locks into the regulator. Then the retainer screw goes back in.

It’s the panel that supports and guides the window. There’s a pulley system on the inside which houses the window and moves it up and down. Of any part of that system breaks this is the item you buy to replace it all.
