Hi Mike, I'm glad to assist you. The in-channel is snugged fit into the door frame channel and covered by the door channel weatherstrip. Answered by Jeonino E. / Mon, Sep 05This style is pinched between the door frame and the weather stripping. The weather strip holds the visor n place. The other styles r stick on with 3m double back tape that holds the visor to the outside top of the door frame and r almost always plastic. Hope I was able to help
